It's the fifth year in a row for the Coldest Night of the Year walk in Saint John.
This year's event page shows 132 walkers on 23 different teams.
It's a fundraiser for Outflow and Colin MacDonald tells us it's meant to draw attention to the plight of the homeless.
"We walk together, but not only to raise money," says MacDonald. "It's about showing as a community that we stand with those who are marginalized."
MacDonald says the community has been very supportive each and every year.
"Local businesses get on board, the mayor gets on board, local MPs get on board," he says, "so it really is a great time."
Organizers suggest you bring your donation for the event, a completed pledge form, a signed waiver form, good walking waterproof shoes or boots and a warm coat and mitts.
Registration starts at 4 p.m. in the Market Square atrium with the walkers heading out after 5 p.m.
A light meal will be served to all the walkers and volunteers between 6 and 8 p.m.
