Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long is out of the prime minister's "dog house" so to speak.
Long was removed from committee work a few months ago after voting against the Liberal government tax changes.
Long says "I've certainly maintained a low key, not said much about it, but it was difficult to come to Ottawa and not being able to participate in those committees"
Long tells CHSJ News he received a call yesterday from the party Whip MP Pablo Rodriguez who told him he was back on the HUMA Committee, which covers human resources, social development and people with disabilities.
Long says he is elated to be able to get back to work on reducing poverty across Canada and especially in his riding.
