A complaint lodged against Fredericton Police Chief Leanne Fitch has been dismissed.

A public complaint was received by the Fredericton Civic Authority against Chief Fitch which was passed on to the New Brunswick Police Commission.

The person, who filed the complaint, was in attendance for Constable Cherie Campbell’s arbitration hearing and alleged that Chief Fitch’s comportment towards him at the hearing amounted to discreditable conduct.

The Commission subsequently appointed Tim Quigley, a former commanding officer of the RCMP in New Brunswick, to investigate and none of the allegations were sustained.
