The Toronto Argonauts won the Grey Cup 27-24 over Calgary in dramatic fashion, kicking a 32 yard field goal with 53 seconds left. The Argos tied the game after Cassius Vaughn set a record with a 109 yard fumble return for a touchdown.

In the NFL, Chris Boswell kicked a career best 53 yard field goal as time expired to give the Pittsburgh Steelers a 31-28 victory over Green Bay last night. The Steelers are now 9 and 2......Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes, including two to Rob Gronkowski, as the New England Patriots improve to 9 and 2 with a 35-17 win over Miami......Carson Wentz threw three touchdown passes and the league leading Philadelphia Eagles beat the Chicago Bears 31-3 for their ninth straight win. The Eagles are now 10 and 1.......The Los Angeles Rams downed New Orleans 26-20 in a meeting of NFC division leaders. Thne Saints had won 8 in a row. In the "Q", Matthew Williams made 36 saves and Daniel Hardie scored the game winner as the Saint John Sea Dogs edged the Moncton Wildcats 2-1. The Sea Dogs are holding the Winter Road Hockey Classic today in the heart of the city. They're joining forces with Top Corner Hockey to emerge with two teams who will do battle on Prince William Street in front of Saint John High School tonight at 6 o'clock. All Sea Dogs players will be on hand to show off their skills and have a little fun.

Three games in the NHL with Boston losing to Edmonton 4-2....Jimmy Vesey scored the tying goal early in the third period and then added the winner in the seventh round of a shootout to give the New York Rangers a 4-3 victory over Vancouver and Carolina got by Nashville in a shootout 4-3.

The Harbour View High girls basketball teams won both the senior varsity and junior varsity divisions of the Simonds Tip Off tournament over the weekend.
