Two teenage boys are facing charges after a pair of break-ins at a newly constructed residence in Rothesay.

The Kennebecasis Regional Police Force says the home on Bel Air Avenue was broken into twice this week — on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cpl. Kim Bennett tells us officers doing extra patrols in the area spotted footprints around the home around 12:40 a.m. today.

They followed the footprints for about two hours and arrested two teens in the Gondola Point area.

Bennett says the teens were released to their parents and will face charges of break and enter and trespass at night.
