Interim PC party leader Bruce Fitch says the Auditor General offering a forencis audit to the Liberals on the Atcon scandal but Fitch says Brian Gallant wants to sweep it under the carpet and hope it goes away.

The Provincial Conservative party purchased computers relating to the Atcon scandal and subsequently turned them over to the RCMP saying they contain data.

Fitch says New Brunswickers want to know where the money went.

Atcon went bankrupt in 2010 despite a loan guarantee of $50 million dollars during the time when the Liberals were in power under then-premier Shawn Graham.

Back in March, Auditor General Kim MacPherson unveiled a report critical of the Graham government's decision to approve loan guarantees to Atcon despite significant risk.
