The spring-like weather we've been experiencing is about to come to a sudden and snowy end.
AccuWeather meteorologist Carl Erickson tells us they're tracking a developing nor'easter that's expected to affect New Brunswick later this week.
Erickson says the snow will begin Wednesday afternoon and become quite heavy Wednesday night and Thursday.
"Right now, we're looking at a very large area of 15 to 30 centimetres across the area, with locally 45 centimetres before things begin to wind down late Thursday night," says Erickson.
Erickson says winds gusting to between 80 and 95 kilometres per hour will also create blizzard-like conditions on Wednesday night and Thursday.
Environment Canada has also issued a special weather statement, saying "significant snowfall amounts" are likely over much of the province.
