Two Teens Arrested In Connection With Damage At Church Of Christ

A couple of teenagers are being charged in connection with the vandalism at the Church of Christ in St. George.

Over the weekend, it was discovered someone had broken into the church between November 19th and November 25th, and caused significant damage.

Some of the vandalism included smashing a new piano, breaking windows, pulling thermostats and wires from the walls, and throwing items around.

On Tuesday, November 28th, a 15 year old boy from Chance Harbour and a 17 year old boy from Beaver Harbour were arrested in connection with the incident and released from custody.

They will appear in court on February 7th, 2018.

RCMP say they are still investigating the incident, and are asking the public t contact them with any tips they may have.
