Phelix Martineau's second goal at 1:36 of overtime gave Cape Breton a 2-1 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs with goalie Matthew Williams making 45 saves for the Sea Dogs.

In the NHL.......Patrick Marleau scored two goals as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat Arizona 7-4.....Steven Stamkos had two goals in Tampa Bay's 3-1 win over Montreal as the Lightning have won 10 of their past 11 games.....Alex Ovechkin got the shootout winner in Washington's 4-3 win over Boston....Elsewhere, it was Vancouver 5 Chicago 2.....Vegas 3 Los Angeles 2 in overtime.....Florida 3 Philadelphia 2 and San Jose 3 Calgary 2 in a shootout.

At the World Juniors, Slovakia scored with just over 2 minutes left in the third period for a 3-2 upset win over the U.S......Russia downed Switzerland 5-2.....Sweden over the Czech Republic 3-1 and Finland defeated Denmark 4-1......This afternoon, the U.S. takes on Canada at 4:00 Atlantic time.

In the NBA, the Boston Celtics rallied from 26 points down for a 99-98 win over Houston with the winning basket made with 3.7 seconds left in the 4th quarter.
