Drivers who use Rothesay Avenue could run into some delays over the next few weeks.
The road will be reduced from four lanes to two from Thorne Avenue to McLean Street starting today and continuing until April 30th.
Traffic turning south from Rothesay Avenue to Russell Street will be intermittently reduced to one lane with traffic control in place.
It's part of the city's work to upgrade water transmission mains in the area.
Businesses within the construction zone will remain accessible to the public while the work is underway.
