As we know from past experience with flooding in Charlotte County -- it's best to be prepared.
With Charlotte County under a rainfall warning, and up to 110 mms of rain set to fall by Thursday morning, St. George EMO Coordinator Sean Morton says residents should prepare themselves to be self-sufficient for up to 72 hours.
He says to avoid areas prone to flooding or washouts, and travel with care.
Morton adds, the gates at St. George Power are currently open and water levels are being monitored.
