The Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick has a number of issues to bring to the province during its annual general meeting this week in Fredericton.

Alliance President Mike Bouma says they will hear from the provincial Agriculture Minister Andrew Harvey on Thursday and they have concerns for him to look into including issues regarding road safety and repairs and an unfair levy slapped onto local food producers when they sell to certain stores, beyond their 10 percent threshold.

The meetings begin Wednesday with a key note speaker talking about farm finances and the viewing of the critically acclaimed documentary Food Evolution.

Bouma says they also have a number of resolutions that will be brought up during the actual AGM.
