The Canadiens have won four in a row, including three on the road, and seven of their last eight.......Edmonton breaking a 9 game losing streak with a 3-2 shootout win over Los Angeles.....Vancouver snapped a four game losing streak on the road with a 3-1 win over San Jose. The Sharks have lost three straight and Shea Weber scored twice to lead Nashville to a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues.

Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro was questioned by police in the Dominican Republic in connection with a shooting at a nightclub that left six people injured, including one in serious condition. Police believe people close to Castro were involved in the shooting.
