In the NHL, Carey Price made 37 saves and Brendan Gallagher got his 10th goal as the Montreal Canadiens downed Columbus 3-1....... Jake Guentzel's second goal tied the game with 64 seconds left in regulation time then Sidney Crosby scored on a deflection at 1:48 of overtime to give Pittsburgh a 5-4  win over Philadelphia. The Flyers are winless in their past 8 games......Alex DeBrincat scored 3 goals and added an assist in Chicago's 7-3 win over Anaheim....In other play, it was Winnipeg 7 Minnesota 2 and Florida 3 New Jersey 2.

In the NFL, Baltimore defeated Houston 23-16.

The NFL has suspended Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib and Oakland Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree for 2 games each for their fight in the first quarter of Sunday's game. Both players plan to appeal.

In the NBA, the Boston Celtics lost for just the second time on their home court, 118-108 over Detroit....LeBron James had 30 points and 13 rebounds in Cleveland's 113-91 win over Philadelphia.
