In the NHL, Carey Price made 27 saves for his third win in three starts since missing 10 games with a lower body injury as the Montreal Canadiens got by Ottawa 2-1.....Tuuka Rask made 19 saves to break his four game losing streak as the Boston Bruins upended Tampa Bay 3-2. Charlie McAvoy scored a goal and had an assist with Brad Marchand picking up two assists.....Anaheim edged St. Louis 3-2 and Colorado downed Winnipeg in overtime 3-2.

In the NBA, Kyle Lowry scored a season high 36 points while DeMar DeRozan had 30 as the Toronto Raptors improved to 7 and 1 at home with a 126-113 win over Charlotte. The Toronto Blue Jays will honour the life and career of two time Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay in a ceremony before their season opener against the New York Yankees at home on March 29th. Halladay died Nov. 7th at age 40 when the private plane he was piloting crashed into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida.
