Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Copper Wiring Stolen From SWP Building

Thieves in St. Stephen are at it again, this time in the Industrial Park.

A large amount of copper wire has been stolen and local RCMP are asking for your help in finding the culprit.

St. Stephen Police say sometime between October 29th and November 12th, someone broke into the site of the SWP building in the St. Stephen Business Park and stole approximately $5000 worth of copper wiring, causing extensive damage in the process.

RCMP say the thief or thieves gained access through the secured fence at 30 Progress Drive.

If you have any information about the break, enter, and theft, you're asked to contact St. Stephen RCMP at 506-466-7030, or report anonymously to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crimestoppers will pay up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest.
